Safely (also known as ResFix) is a modern utility plugin designed to protect your server from broken resource pack builds by automatically backing up and restoring your pack manager data. It currently supports Nexo, ItemsAdder, and Oraxen, with an intelligent detection system to automatically select the correct pack manager on your first run. How does it work? Safely operates silently in the background to ensure your resource pack data is always recoverable: On every server startup, a full backup of your active pack manager folder is created; Multiple backups are retained (default: 5, configurable) Old backups are automatically cleaned up to save space No manual setup is required for standard plugin installations (Drag & Drop Support) Instant recovery If your resource pack becomes corrupted or breaks during generation, you can immediately restore a working version: /fixres start This will: Restore the most recent backup Replace the current broken files Safely return your pack manager to a stable state You can also restore a specific pack manager: /fixres restore nexo ; /fixres restore itemsadder ; /fixres restore oraxen (If you are only using one pack manager, the easiest way to go is using /fixres start) Post-restore workflow After restoring, simply reload your resource pack using your manager’s commands: Nexo: /nexo reload ; /nexo pack (Equivalent commands apply for ItemsAdder and Oraxen) Additional features Automatic manager detection (Nexo, ItemsAdder, Oraxen) Multi-manager support via configuration Emergency backup before every restore Config reload support (/fixres reload) Detailed status overview (/fixres status) Optional debug mode for advanced troubleshooting Designed for reliability Safely is built with a focus on stability and data protection: Ensures your files are never overwritten without a fallback Provides consistent and predictable rollback behavior Integrates seamlessly into modern Paper-based servers With Safely, you can experiment, rebuild, and update your resource packs without the risk of breaking your server environment. - Tested on Paper 1.21.8; Support for other versions isn't guaranteed.
