SEO index pipeline rework & Product page rework
NMCrate Update Changelog - 25-07-2026 SEO index pipeline rework (This is really important as it will start getting the platform more people) Search Engines now are being updated every time changes happen on products. Fixed the big one: archived/private products were leaving dead pages behind, and Google was treating them as duplicates and dropping the whole group, including live products. Those dead URLs now get actively removed from Google instead of just sitting there. Making a product private/archived now removes it from Google search. Un-archiving or re-publishing brings it back into search automatically (instantly on edit, or by the nightly pass at the latest). Before, a product could stay invisible even after being fixed. Renaming a product no longer leaves a ghost page in search, we remove the old URL we actually had indexed, not just the current one. Nightly reconciliation pass that catches anything the live updates missed, so the index self-corrects over time instead of drifting. We never pull a page from Google unless we've re-verified it's genuinely gone, so a live product can't get de-listed by mistake. Note: Google caps us at ~200 submissions/day store-wide, so big batches roll out over a few days. Indexing on Google's end is days, not minutes. Product page rework: Fixed the download picker: if a product supported, say, 1.21.4 through 26.2, the dropdown only ever offered those two versions and nothing in between. Buyers on 1.21.9 had to guess which end would work, or ask you. It now lists every version in the range. The layout now adapts to what you're selling. Plugins get a compact thumbnail, a logo doesn't need to dominate the page. Models get a carousel that cycles your gallery images automatically, with arrows and page dots when you hover. Version history is out of the popup and into its own "Versions" tab, alongside Description, Gallery and Reviews. Search it, filter by platform or Minecraft version, sort oldest/newest, and download any past version directly. The information card was carrying too much. It's now category, Minecraft version, platforms and requirements, with a separate Details card for Created, Last Updated and License. Recent changes now show platforms as icons rather than a row of text labels, so you can read a version at a glance. Hover any icon for the name. For models, "Works with" moved out of the sidebar to sit directly under the Purchase/Get button. For a model it's usually the detail that decides the sale, not a footnote. "Works with" now covers MCPets and NMEntities, and every supported plugin shows its logo. Mobile: the page was using desktop-sized margins that ate most of a phone screen. Gutters, controls and filters now scale down properly, and the version filters collapse into a dropdown instead of a wall of chips.
